The textile business Popken 1880 was founded in 1880 and has developed into a fashion specialist operating worldwide, a provider of high-calibre plus-size fashion. Today, the Popken Fashion Group‘s family of brands includes the labels Ulla Popken, GINA LAURA, the young-fashion label Studio Untold, as well as the menswear label, JP1880.

Starting point

The Popken Group needed a modern customer-management and order-management software for its catalogue and online business, taking a multi-channel-approach (14 sales channels – 4 brands in 12 countries).

Implementation / Project

In an environment featuring more than 50 interfaces and a large number of other IT systems,e-velopment’s 360e software was introduced for the four Popken brands. The project was completed on time and within budget, and in accordance with the quality requirements.

The roll-out into the 12 countries took the form of a three-stage launch process. Even while the project was still in progress, the opportunity to start implementing Phase II topics was taken; so only two months after the green light to ‘go-live‘, the markets in the USA and Canada were able to be integrated, as was the link-up to the brands‘ marketplaces on amazon.us and fullbeauty.com.
